I am proud of her.but....

Have u heard this joke??
presidents of 3 countries - India ,China and U.S. chatting.
Mr.china-we make the best fountain pens in the world.entire world uses our pens.what do u do?
Mr.U.S.-you asking what we do??accepted that u make the best pens, but its us who make it's nib and give it the finishing touch.
(now both look at Mr.India.curious abt wat he has to say)
Mr.India-we print on the pens-'MADE IN INDIA'.

Sunita Williams was born and brought up in U.S. and considers Needham, Massachusetts to be her hometown.but for us ,some strings of her paternal connections wit our land and her kitty that contains a copy of bhagavad gita ,a small figurine of lord ganesha and samosas are enough to boast around the world and shout from the roof top tat she is the make of this country.and thats why her safety matters.only hers.and then we do havana and yagyas(same old faltugiri, because we are not capable of doing anything else.and hell,we are doing it for a SCIENCE PERSON?? paradox, isn't it??scientist and havan-the match couldn't be more suitable.)

Sunita is a brave lady.supremely talented, hardworking and overall a very respectable personality.wishing her a safe comeback is a sign of our humane side.but our job ends there.but here
we should not forget that she is just a human being.not god.appreciate her for what she has done.pray for her safety but don't forget others.don't show such selfishness at least in prayers.otherwise don't pray.there is no need to create such big dramas for those rusty news channels.they can go to any extent to raise their trp ratings..

we need to shed this tendency of relating anything and everything that is great to us in all possible ways..don't waste energy in this.channelize it properly.gear up!work hard and become someone of good use to this country.don't just sit and appreciate those who are already successful.derive inspiration from them and put yourself to some work.
closing line-i have heard a person say, " Gautama Buddha became great because he received the same initial religious lessons like all Hindus.his father was Hindu by religion..our Hindu religion is great and he is what he is because of us". oh my god!!!..very original 'theory of relativity', what else??

grrrhh.....

If i had a gun today,i would certainly have shot that bloody pig..but i could not do a thing.i could just watch him turn his bike and zoom away before i could see the number of his bike..damn..this feeling of anger and helplessness is killing me from inside.

SCENE-me,quietly driving my car.signal went green so it was my right to move.and then suddenly out of nowhere this two wheeler crowd came down rushing from the left apparantly scaring me for a moment..one of them is a guy,who straight comes and bangs my car from the side.before i could understand what was happening,he uttered some bad words, turned his bike, now a bit funny and strange part - he actually kicked my car from behind- and rushed away..was he some psychotic person or something??and the most shameful thing was that nobody seemed to mind except me. instead all the gaadiwallas constantly blew horns till my wits end, apparantly cursing me for having blocked their road..what the heck???i am appalled and deeply disgusted at puneri crowd's selfishness and utter disregard for traffic rules..really pathetic.
and after this incidence, all i could do was to take my car aside and look for any damage that psychopath might have inflicted..

and while all this was happening, where were the traffic policemen???probably managing the traffic of 'wada-pav and chai' down their foodpipe in some nearby canteen where that canteenwalla can't ask them for bill payment..

bu hu hu..one more time

I AM FRUSTRATED...SOMEBODY,PLZ DO A FAVOUR..PUT AN END TO THIS ONGOING MADNESS..
some people wail, whine ,complain because someone else 'moves their cheese'..but in my case,it was me who sniffed all different varieties of cheese to ensure quality, picked up the best among them, and then packed it in a cloth, closed my eyes, whirled it around at 1000 some rpm and threw it so far away that now i have absolutely no idea which direction and how far it flew.in short-i have moved my own cheese-
Am i sounding incoherent??i wrote twisted matters?? well ,no one to blame..medical students very often get cynical and irritated..specially when exams approach..looks like something of that kind is happening to me these days..(i must stop using more than one fullstop unnecessarily)...(i m hopeless)! studies relentlessly piling up,tension index rising to record high like NIFTY,frustration taking sneak peeks at my already sad gloomy day..uff..and here is one voice that echos in mind-"babe,u've made a wrong choice.now pay.he he poor you!" the voice mocks me.the critic inside me has a real merciless sense of humour.bloody Sadist!!
and above all,i don't have time to even crib about it..so ,so unfair! anyways, gotta log out.tonnes of studies waiting eagerly to drive it's sharp nails through my flesh.(eew, sounds tad too much)..so,off me goes.tada....

300-not just another war movie..

Just had a luck of watching this great piece of work.I give it 9/10.could not give full 10 points since i wished the movie could extend a bit longer..it was just too good..

It's a one and half hours of terrifying, jaw dropping, sensational battle experience. It's a story of 300 Spartans fighting against tens of thousands of Persians.A glorious part in the history of Greeks and which inspired many generations ahead, where 299 brave men with their leader of honour-the king Leonidas fought against and repulsed the enemy in the narrow pass of Thermopylae to protect the independence of their land and prevent the impending enslavement of their wives, children and the elderly..

It's a war movie.and thus viewers won't escape a hell lot of bloodshed, decapitations and such great extremes of violence.that is what the niche of war movies so far made, have delivered.BUT,director sure deserves a huge round of applause for his innovative way of creating violence on screen which is much milder than the other forms we have seen.we don't feel disgusted for sure.director has used more of gray, brownish and golden shades and thus blood no longer appears the same dangerous red..

Director has taken generous help from the highly advanced digital and visual effects technology and has been successful in putting life into each battle scene.I have never seen such brilliant use of slow motions before.A scene where the king-Leonidas moves ahead and cuts the innumerable enemies into multiple pieces is still so vivid in my eyes..

Excellent cinematography is the strongest point of the movie.Heavy metal that fills the background score is historically just perfect.The army of well built,8 packs abs,6 plus feet tall Spartans draped in crimson red is way too impressive.The king Leonidas,the Persian king Xerxes carried immense aura.dialogues are effective,power packed..there are some quick,short and highly effective sentences like;
"eat a hearty breakfast,coz tonight,we dine,IN HELL"
"come back, with the shield,or on it"

And most of all ,the performance of each single actor is award deserving. They all must have done ample hard work to move their audience by emotions. As a certificate to their brilliance, the viewers in some scenes cheered ,and in some others they clapped.

movie has been beautifully made.(except some uncomfortable scenes)it appeals to our aesthetic senses. So many war movies have been made but, never did the movie atmosphere feel so mysterious, wheat fields never looked so beautiful and never was the fight with spears and swords so impressive!!

this movie is a masterpiece.Go for it.I bet,you won't be disappointed..it simply rules...

hu ha indya

what da heck!!we lost the khata-khol match against bangladesh..such a poor start of this much awaited WC..shame shame..the way our 'runner up' team of last wcup displayed it's talent on the field yesterday,i am afraid,we wont even qualify for the super six thingie.even thinking of winning wc is now like being in a fool's paradise.

i think, one can make a reasonable guess about a players psychology if he/she watches him play carefully.a player's body language speaks a lot about his mental state..and during the match,i felt there was absolutely no spirit in our players.right from the start..
gosh!! dear sehwag,sachin,DHONI,dravid..whats wrong with you guys??how could you turn out to be such bad eggs??or were you all thinking tat it's just a practise match?may be you underestimated the dark horse bangladesh team way too much..ab bhugto..

anyways,i shouldn't waste much time on crying or criticizing here..we still have one more chance against bermuda... ..let's keep our fingers crossed..

poised,are we?? i think so...

Hmm...looks like some really cool schemes on pre/post paid cards are just around the corner.vodafone won the hutch-essar race and is now all set to enter indian wireless communication industry with a big-bang!!vodafone bagged the deal at a whooping price of 19 billion dollars..!boy,sounds pretty big..they say,its the largest corporate deal ever happened on indian grounds.well, this came as the biggest news today.another news that closely followed was that our(our?)birla-hindalco won some other bid today and has now become world's no.2 aluminium sheets making company and they paid around 6 billion dollars for the same.the figure doesn't sound as big as compared to the biggest deal of the day,but it's definitely significant enough to make indian corporate sector proud once again within a short period after the 'much talked about' tata-corus victory.gosh!so many great corporate news hitting the nation one after the other in such quick succession!no doubt, there is a lot of excitement happening on the indian business front..and hey, lets not forget the indian space research activities amid this corporate frenzy!india has fixed it's date with moon on march 30th 2008 :)we approched the moon late for sure, but it's better to be late than never, right? looks like the country is full of zest and has a leg up because of the newly found confidence from the success in almost all the fields we touched.we sure ,are ready for a giant leap in coming years...Cheers guys, this is the time for real celebrations .lets be happy and proud in spite of losing a cricket match against lanka today.....see ya:)

khata khul gaya...finally

whee...my first post..and it is about -Nothing.!!!
A very commonly asked question is why i had to open a blog...well,frankly there is no driving reason.a few pals from my college have been blogging since last 2-3 years..so i thought even i should give it a try...so, here i am..!
I am not a person with a flair for writing or something.i have never penned down anything of this sort before,so i thought may be, writing in blogs will help me cultivate and improve my writing skills.i like to read ,talk but writing? naah, not my cuppa tea..so boys n girls, devio aur sajjano, any tips and good suggestions are always welcome.
Hmm..can't think of anything more . lets see how far i can go with this blogging thingie...wish me best luck guys :)
