Resolving never to watch/read political news is one of the most sensible decisions I've made in my whole unremarkable life!! I would much rather stay on the unfashionable bylanes than join the respected chaotic mainstream. At least I get to keep my sanity. To hell with all that nonsense.

And by the way, calling yourself agnostic is the safest bet when you don't give a dingo's kidney about the whole issue. That way atheists won't ridicule you for being ignorant or believers won't loathe you for being arrogant plus you give out an impression that you 'think'.

ReplyDelete1st statement-- same old cwg corruption and India's image was being ripped apart on TV.i quickly switched it off.there was a time wen i used to watch political news n express passionate opinions too but now i don't care.i wd much rather love to be far away from this daily boring routine n live somewhere in solitude...like a hermit. :D
2nd statement-- atheists n believers r always at logger heads. if caught betn them,its better to declare yourself agnostic n no one wil ask any more questions..safe bet :)
btw, both of them r pretty random statements..not at all related to each other.. :D

@ saranga.. well, the comments are not at all related :) ..and about the first statement, i am so glad that you and many ppl wont agree with it.otherwise how will this system work..we are all a part of this system and we need ppl who take interest in it n keep the wheels turning..im aware i wasn't making an awesomely correct statement there, it was just that i was too frustrated seeing how bad things are..needed venting somewhere :)
